( Project Description )

Pavilion 1295 rises above the dunes of Mermaid Beach with sculptural presence and refined simplicity. Referencing Mediterranean modernism through a distinctly Australian lens, the residence is defined by a rhythm of soft arches, textured white render, and deep overhangs that frame its elevated position on the coastline. The architecture responds directly to its context, offering both privacy and panoramic exposure across the beachfront horizon.

Internally, the home is calm and restrained, layered with natural materials and softened tonal shifts. Vaulted ceilings and framed openings invite light to move through each space, while a palette of limestone, timber, and glass reinforces the connection to land, sea, and sky. Pavilion 1295 is a study in coastal clarity, a residence grounded in simplicity, yet rich in detail.
